Blooming Events
In partnership with photographer and events organiser Ann Dierikx, Kate runs Blooming Events, a non profit making organisation which provides a range of art & activity days for children and families in the Hay and Brecon area.
Committed to assisting the Regeneration of Talgarth and the wider local community, it aims to give people affordable creative experiences and opportunities for different age groups to share activities.
Established in the Spring of 2014, Blooming Events has flourished, holding a wide range of events and workshops, from Miniature garden making and theatres in boxes to painting and collage. Its most recent project was a large scale community mural, in support of the Talgarth Festival. This depicted the local Talarth environment and was collaboratively created by everyone from toddlers to OAPs.
